Gradually increasing evening congestion in Island Bay.

Not as bad as before the October upgrade, but still noticeable (half-speed).

TrueNet stats for my 100/10 cable connection - hourly averaged downstream speeds, averaged over the past 7 days:

(With real-world use, peak-time performance is actually worse than shown on the graph)

PS  According to (limited) TrueNet stats (10 other cable users), peak congestion is confined to the Island Bay area.

@ VodafoneDylan - any news of local upgrades?

Here in Karori, back down to 15-30Mbps download speed in the evenings (100/10 plan).

Have you tried restarting your cable modem (and is the test being done on Ethernet)?

Thanks r2b2 - I've just restarted everything in sight and it's improved to between 30-50Mbs (varies) main wireless and ethernet. I think I do have an issue with my wireless extension - definitely slower on that than the main wireless and ethernet, which are roughly the same as each other.

So, not all Vodafone. But it's still congested.

@jimbob79 have you called the HFC support team about this?
