Just called Vodafone tech support as I'm currently getting speeds of less than 2mbit (measured on ookla) down. I would post a picture but I can't even finish the test :(

He seemed to think there was an outage in my area (Miramar, Wellington) and I was transferred to a "congested" node. My usual cable node has 134 subscribers on it and he reckons I should never have these sorts of speeds. Note this is the first time I've actually had issues with internet speed so I guess my lucky run had to come to an end sooner or later.

My tech is going to follow up with the tier 2 team tomorrow and get back to me later in the evening to see what the situation is!

I've tried a couple of times and cannot get speed tests to reliably finish. Y'all got any spare dial-up? :\

Downloading speedtest.net app from play store. Haven't seen speed go over 80KB/s.

@ganktrain Thanks for that. You'd think after a year of upgrades there wouldn't be any congested nodes any more. Hopefully the can resolve it before tomorrow evening.

@Sideface Same deal here. I haven't been able to finish a speed test in about half an hour. I have a 2degrees modem sitting here, but I'm still waiting on the line being provisioned.

The connection is completely unusable. Pages are taking several minutes to load, and I can't do much of anything.
