Yeah, I've not even bothered testing, I now know what 5Mb/s feels like when browsing.

Not good, but useable at least (50/2):

@sideface We're just around the corner but the ping is way better. Not sure what gives.

Tonight's back to "normal": Fairly decent latency and rubbish bandwidth. I guess it's just unrealistic to expect an Ultrafast Broadband™ connection to be able to consistently perform well.

Hello all

Thanks for all the posts and information about this issue.

We’re working hard to increase capacity on the cable network. After investing $6m late last year, we have an even bigger investment project in train which we are confident will future-proof the network for years to come. This latest round of investment is more intensive than before and also more complex, so unfortunately we can’t give an accurate date to relieve the congestion you are experiencing just yet. We’re working as quickly as we can and hope to have things sorted in Wellington quite soon.

As I get more detail, I will of course share it here and in the Vodafone Community.

I'll keep a watchful eye on this thread also.

Mike

Is it safe to assume DOCSIS 3.1 won't be out in a few months time?

I guess this is what I heard last week referred as "Plan B".

I hope it works.
