since this late afternoon, Christchurch inhome cable became really slow on downstream. 2-5mbps on my 130mpbs old plan. now, at 2300, I get 0.2mbps, srsly wtf? upstream seems unaffected.

reading the posts before me knowing there could be an upgrade someone was talking about. But NOTHING was mentioned on vodafone statues page. What your network team should do is send us emails if even there is protential outage or drastic performance drop. Not keeping us in the dark. Another point is, hey we are Customers who paid our bills in full but not receiving your service in full. Shouldn't there be somekind of compensation? Something is wrong here.

You will need to contact Vodafone to discuss any compensation.

A slow week at node WKH frown

TrueNet and nPerf give almost identical results.

I think that I'll be phoning Vodafone tomorrow, requesting a partial refund for a partial service.  undecided

My (VDSL) speeds have been slowly increasing over the last few weeks. I'm now consistently getting 38Mbps+ over WiFi and my sync speed is up to 40.1Mbps. Sure, it's still no Ferrari, but what's the point of a Ferrari that can't even make it out of the garage?

I bought the bull, hook line and sinker, for over a year. I have the same wounds, mostly to my wallet and my pride.

And don't know about you, but I'm seeing the same slick stories being sold again now. Lots of "soon", nothing concrete. Lots of inference, no commitment.

Lucky you, we don't have an option of VDSL where we live. It's either cable or dsl. And our DSL connection is like a Toyota Starlet...

I'm quite happy to stay up late and take the Ferrari out when the roads are empty and clear of traffic if it means I have to keep it inside when there are lots of cars on the road. I just wish I didn't have to take it out and drive it on three wheels when I do need to pick up some milk...

I think that is a terrible insult to the Starlet.  wink

A 1948 Morris Minor with a dodgy gearbox, perhaps?
