Genfres: Johnr: Automatic DNS settings through the Vodafone Router. Router says DNS server is 203.109.129.67.
The problem with webpages occurs at random, about 2/5 webpages fail to load first time. Typically refresh fixes, sometimes doesn't.
Heres a traceroute, just in case you wanted one.

Techmeister: At the old address I was getting similar speeds to yourself. I suspect it is the internally wiring, I am now wondering how likely I can get the landlord to cover the wiring expenses.
Continuing on the modem idea, an incorrect MTU setting in the modem can cause random web pages not loading, seem s like a DNS issue but it's not.
While were are on the subject of ping traces, I have quite a few customers on Vodafone where I live, why it is that Vodafone's pings are always so much higher than other ISP's and it is always that first hop to Vodafone typically 50ms and above, all other ISP's are 20ms or under, mine is 16ms (Slingshot)same exchange. I have a lower ping to Australia than some of the Vodafone customers have to Vodafone.
Just wonder if somebody could shed some light on it (sorry to high jack your post)
