Funny you should say Forrest Hill and are you 100% sure the modem firmware was updated? I know of 2 other people in the area that had issues until the software was updated

Line stats are in the modem 192.168.1.1

Can you do this update (save the .bin file to your desktop) Don't try and run the file it's a .BIN login to the modem as advanced user and select the update modem firmware and point at the .bin file on your desktop,

Please do the update over cable not WIFI

http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~testihug/files/hg556a/HG556aV100R001C12B037.bin2

update takes about 5 - 6 min

Bad news, Afew more tests show same problem still. Frown

Anything else you could think of?  Your fault team has sent me a new modem which should be arriving this week, And on afew forums there are afew others in the forrest hill area having the same issues.

Maybe time for a chorus tech to come have alook at my line maybe, Its odd though, This only happens between around 5.30pm - 11.30pm and most of the day saturday and sunday. So congestion times.
