Hi, wireless is never as magic as folk want to think, the numbers on the box were provided by the marketing folk who wear rose tinted glasses. :)

imd6662: Sounds like a good tip from Cyril too. I'm going to try a TP-Link.

i use the first one that cyril linked.  has been good for me.

I just got one also and PL flashed it with Gargoyle for me.

Works very well though today it just locked up and would not let me turn on wifi. I had to factory reset it and enter all the settings. But now I know that Gargoyle allows you to save the configuration, if it happens again I won't have to enter all the settings.

Wireless performance is good (my GN shows 65Mbs) but all my desktops are wired so wireless is only used for phones and tablets.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

you should be able to get faster than that with a computer, my tablet only does up to 65 megabit or something, single radio wireless n.
