Adam,

You should be good on both now, you have access to the LED on the 941, Voicemail Transfer should also be fine, we found an issue that related to a upgrade we did last week , it would have been effecting other users as well on Voicemail Transfer outside of Auckland

Let me know how you go

Whats the critical design flaw effect in the 942's? Ingram Micro have been out of stock of the 921,922,941 and 942's for over a month now - and it's crippling our ability to sell WFX. (bit hard selling a phone service without the phones.)

Do you know what the new models are, and also could you suggest they build a bluetooth module into the phone so you can use any bluetooth headset, at the moment the headset's for the phones cost $300+ wholesale

The design flaw is around the 921 / 941 range of phones and a quality issue we identifed with certain codecs, so they were withdrawn from the NZ market, I guess this put a strain on their Back order process to fill the hole with the 922 / 942 ranges, I believe they should be very close though..I wish I could get them here faster but I actually have no control or visability on Linksys stock at all, I probably have less than you do Laughing

Ingram Micro are showing the ETA for 922 / 942 as June 22, not long to wait now guys Smile

Not too long to wait? They were due in Friday, now another delay... Dude seriously, Ingram Micro have some serious stock control issues at the moment, basic stuff has month long delays (Netgear routers, laptop hard drives, linksys voip.) Basic stuff, not complex rare parts. Anyways thats my rant.

On a more rational note, how come the 921/941's have a flaw with the codec which cannot be fixed by firmware, but the 922/942's don't since the only difference is the Power over Ethernet?

I thought the whole Linksys line had a single VOIP stack across the range. Or are the codecs in DSP chips/hardware?

It's hardware related that couldn't be fixed by firmware, there is actually also a major hardware fifference in the 922 / 942 as well different chipsets, still run the same SIP stack just different internal hardware.

So why is (only) the 921/941 still listed on your web site?  Looks like someone is a bit slow in updating it!
