Sideface:

I'll try on Monday - every little bit helps :)

shrub:

I tried that and the lady said that i can not upgrade to the 250gb cos of the contract im on. 250gb really is not enough.

Hey folks, will get the right team in touch with both of you. :)

Cheers,

Vodafone have offered me a new data cap of 250GB - 100GB above my existing cap - for the princely sum of 8 cents extra per month.
A bargain at 0.8 cents per gigabyte.
No termination penalty.
No extension of my contract.
Vodafone are well aware that "the natives are restless".
Increases in their maximum data cap are strongly rumored to be pending :)

Well done. I have called several times last year and because I could not sign a contract was nothing they would offer at all so for several months we have paid overcap. Cant sign a new contract when already building the new house and know moving to a new non cable area inside that time.

I got a call around lunch but due to the fact i don't have a Vodafone cellphone(work pays for my phone XT) the only option i had was to pay an extra $39 for 100gb which will make my bill $238. At least my contact finishes in April so i don't have to long to wait.

True to their word, Vodafone upgraded me today from a 150GB to a 250GB data cap for my high-speed cable account.
The new plan is mysteriously entitled: "Entertain 250GB (Superfast Broadband - Super Booster)"
I can find no trace of this plan on the Vodafone website, but I presume that it is Coming Soon.
You Heard It Here First.
Thank you Vodafone :)

That's the 250GB 'Entertain' package, which is on this page of the Vodafone site, with the 'upgrade your speed' option checked. :)

Hi Sideface

That'll be the same as the 250GB plan listed on our site at this address
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/high-speed-cable/

Sometimes plans have slightly different names like that in some of our systems to differentiate from earlier plans. :)

Cheers

My 24 month expires on March 1st.. They have until then to offer an uncapped, unlimited, unmanaged cable plan.

Vodafone have just doubled the 250GB Entertain data cap to 500GB at no extra charge.
This will be announced on their web site soon.
At last, a realistic data cap for a 130Mbps connection.
