If only that were so ... unfortunately Vodafone is probably THE most expensive dial-up provider in the country. They charge $20.45 per month, whereas you can get it for under $10 at some providers. :(

If you ask really nicely, I can probably still hook you up with unlimited ClearNet dial-up for $3.95. ;)


$3.95?!? Geez, that's over-priced. ;-)

My mother used to have free (completely free, not an add-on to something else) dial-up a few years ago with a company I forget the name of, but they closed down.

That's surprising, the business model seemed so sound...

I forget the details, but it was something about a rebate, so Telecom was paying them for you to connect. As soon as the legislation expired so did the companies scamming the system.
