DjShadow: Does Sky provide HD programs on their SD channels where possible?
e.g The Box plays WWE programming which I believe Sky receives in HD (The PPV's are shown on Sky Arena HD in good HD qual), would the program when shown on the box on Vodafone TV be in HD or down-scaled to SD?
Also does the Fibre version offer support for Multi-room?

I don't believe Vodafone offer multiple installs yet of the T-box over UFB. It's very much a scenario that will work however, but if you've got your own internal network you'll need to ensure that any switches support multicast.

ZollyMonsta:
Multi room is available on UFB TV, limited to two Vodafone Digital TV recorders per household.
DjShadow: Can you provide an example of a switch that supports multicast?

I'm not sure whether you can answer this publically Grant, but I'm guessing this limit exists because the UFB agreement only allows 2 x 10Mbps multicast access channels per customer at present?

This is incorrect.
You get the same HD channels as Sky TV have (Sports / Movies / Soho with the appropriate package). The difference with Vodafone TV on UFB is the HD ticket is included as standard.
Discovery, Animal Planet and Cartoon Network are all in SD.

Hope this helps.
Cheers

Gotta allow for maximum multicast traffic... So think three tuners tuned to three different multicast streams on each unit. That's 6x simultaneous HD streams into one home for two PVRS per household.

I'm using a 5 port 100mb TP Link switch to connect the TV, Home Theatre, etc to the Huawei HG659, looks like I'll need to go to Giggabit once we can get Vodafone TV. Can you say roughly how much bandwidth each stream uses?
