Your line is poked. Speedtest is in line with your sync speed.

RBI Wireless should be available in your area, feel free to get in touch if you want to look in to that option. Also a master splitter wouldn't go a miss if you remain on fixed-line; but good chance they have killed your line with whatever work they did, so perhaps log a fault for "drop in DSL sync speed".

We don't have a phone on the line anymore so haven't been able to check if any issues there as we also have home wireless phone with Vodafone.

Vodafone weren't interested when I explained something might be wrong since it coincided with the repair work its just due to congestion.

They did say there are no plans to upgrade the exchange so I'm going to jump on with wireless broadband for some improvement in the speeds.

Thanks for the discussion and help.

So your line is munted - there is no way you can get speeds faster than your sync rate.

If your speeds were faster beforehand then it's obvious the work last week has possibly impacted your line, however your overall performance and description indicates you're probably on UBA on a Conklin which will not be even worse with the introduction of more unlimited plans.
