You guys miss the line above where NikT of Vodafone said "But if you do take the router, it is yours to keep (unlike the modem), so you can sell it, keep it as a spare, use it as a doorstop, et cetera"

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. Yep, router is all yours, cable modems & set-top boxes remain ours & are recovered at the conclusion of service. They're not a lot of use to anyone else, anyway! :)

I was going to use mine to start up a rival cable company - don't need any other equipment right? ;)

Have just had the cable installed this arvo, still have the slingshot ADSL connection live until the end of billing cycle - will be good to move all ported services across (GPS trackers, websites etc)

Very impressed :)
