Hmmm.........wonder whether the cost of the 1MB plan will drop at all??

well thats stupid isn't it!!

same with woosh, too high for gaming!!

i won't consider it a real alternative till they can lower their pings so people can do more then just check email and browse the web!

Cos I was using $30NZ for unlimited data using a hong kong provider while i was on holiday last year

However, Hong Kong is a completely different environment from New Zealand, thus I find it highly unlikely that you'd get that plan here for quite some time.

They don't differentiate data overseas.

Anything Wap/GPrs/UMTS all considered as data only

Vodafone is just confusing people with wap and gprs being charged seperately and u dont even know which is wap or gprs

Yes, this plan is the same as Broadband Starter & Broadband Everyday (200MB and 1GB) and is now called Broadband Pro (3GB)

sbiddle: What happens with existing term contract customers who want to move up to the new plan?

You can change up to this plan if you are currently on a Broadband 200mb or 1GB plan without starting a new term.

??? I assume you're confused and mean Telecom charge differently?

Vodafone don't charge WAP and GPRS/3G traffic differently. WAP traffic uses included MB if you're on a plan and once you're over your limit you will be charged at the appropiate data rate for WAP traffic.

Hmm. I checked cellphone charges about 5 years ago, and Hong Kongs charges were about 1/7th of what they were in NZ. I'd hate to see what they are now. Of course, they pay more in rent than we do.
