Frontliner: Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread, but having similar issues with CS:GO, a selection of aus servers are being routed via HK and USA

Example:

Yours is going to LAX.
Seems to be with one paticular provider. Cant remember the name but its the guys Vilayer use in Sydney

So is it possible for this routing to be changed? I see you are being routed differently to my vf connection.

So is it possible for this routing to be changed? I see you are being routed differently to my vf connection.

The route wont really change as TCL connections will peer with Telstra AU as per there.
I am rotuing through a different up stream provider from TCL lines.
Whether it could be fixed i couldn't confirm at present.
Something along the lines of the Data center that hosts a lot of those servers had some DDOS attacks on routers and all traffic was re routed to it through HongKong and LA and then back to AU.
