yes. the max a vdsl line will sync at on chorus's profiles are 10mbit. thats a max though, the OP is a borderline connection and gets a bit shy of 3mbit.

not all lines will sync equally.. there is a fair bit more variance between vdsl lines compared to adsl lines.

I think maybe our string is not long enough - or perhaps the paper cups are made of the wrong sort of paper?

try using steal cups instead? they might allow for a better volume?

Um... does your offsite backup actually have to be in the cloud? It just seems to me that if it is taking months to complete (and is not yet) then as a backup I would class it as a dismal failure.

aren't you getting confused with the tinfoil hats? I'd think that steel cups would only protect you FROM the dangers of the internet, like my steel 'cupped' boots protect me from myself ? :D
