I'd rate the Samsung Z540 over the 6234 any day.

Better screen, better build quality, while the camera isn't 2MP it still produces better than the 6234, heck it even has one of those new fan dangle front facing cameras for video calling. ;)

Noel Leeming were also doing the Samsung ZV60 for $249 earlier this month.

Not sure if that deal is still going though :)

Just checked, and yes Noel Leeming DO still have the ZV60 at $249

It bears an uncanny resemblance to the Samsung W531, of course you could always buy one of those and unlock it!

I must admit, my 6234 has not taken the knocks too well, the casing is practically stuffed and cracked apart. I replaced the camera in mine with a hack and a larger lens which works much nicer, I just need to get some more of those modules for mods.

My n95 still looks new even after recent "abuse".

Yeah, I found the same with my 6234.

My friends Z540 whilst having a few knocks still looks great, no faded parts from handling, no scratches on the screens, buttons are as new as they day she got it. She's had it over a year and has been chucked in and out of her handbag, dropped, mistreated by children. My 6234 didn't do 2 weeks of gentle handling before it started to scuff.
