beenz: This needs to checked on the Spark side and your calls into the Voicemail platform logs need to be checked and no way Vodafone can do this

Again, very strange how both the response from Vodafone and Spark are very similar, and while you both may be right in your own ways, me as a paying customer is the one hanging on the phone with support teams from both sides trying to fix the issue, and rather than Vodafone engineers talking to Spark engineers and solving the issue I as a PAYING CUSTOMER is the one to suffer.

I am not interested in your excuses as to whose fault it is I just want it fixed.
Not asking to much I believe.

If you think by the tone of my reply I am annoyed you would be right.

Thank you.

Hey Beenz, any chance you could use the Quote function? it makes it much easier to read.

most of the peeps here that work for companies, are here posting in their own personal time, are not paid to post here, and genuinely enjoy helping customers out

totally get your frustration, but try to be nice.

Sorry you maybe a paying customer but I was sitting at home on the couch watching TV in my own time not getting paid

Spark need to look at the calls into there Voicemail platform from your home number and see what is going on, Provide them with A party number times / dates and what is happening, Vodafone have zero visibility of what is happening on the far side clearly the calls are reaching the Spark network

Does it what. Copying and pasting responses into one big reply makes it extremely difficult to track who said what.

Totally right I should be nice regardless and I apologize to all concerned for not being.

Having said that my level of frustration grows and being on the phone for over 1 hour to Vodafone level 2 support with no resolution makes me even more frustrated.

I'm still not really sure what Vodafone can do about this issue.

It would seem strange that if there was some sort of DTMF issue that it would be caused on the Vodafone network if other off-net calls are working fine.

Not a weird interconnect issue?

I am not sure why you keep thinking this a Vodafone issue you are calling off-net and the call is connecting like when you tested calling the Vodafone Voicemail platform and the telephone banking

As advised before in this thread you need an official fault logged with Spark to look into this

I think I know what the issue is but I can't prove it as I don't have access to the platform

One test I have not done is dialing in to another spark voice mail from my home line.
Would that narrow it down a bit ?

What do you think the issue is ?
Thanks

Why not test it and see what happens? That way you can rule out it what it may/may not be.

I can not access any spark voice mails from my home line.
Would that be an indication of pin pointing the problem.
Thanks
