Chewy: Are Vodafone products not quality?

"Will try with another old wireless router". Was just suggesting that for business use you don't want an old router, you want something meant for simultaneous access by a number of people.

1: Vodafone products are not worthless. They are a good consumer product. Works as the technology is designed.
2: Update your firmware.
3: On the screen you have an option called refresh channel.
4: Run a cable.
5: Refer to 4.
6: Refer to 5.

No. I thought those things were reserved for ADSL users, I didn't even think they did UFB until I looked it up!

That's correct for residential customers however for Biz customers we use the VF Station. Have done since we first released Biz fibre. We have recently started using the 659 on naked connections for Biz fibre however.

Given Chewy's problem is with the wifi and his fibre works fine via ethernet its not a make/model issue.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

For decent WiFi I'd strongly suggest checking out the Xclaim XI-3 (made my Ruckus). Just switched from using UniFi to one and all I can say is what a difference it has made. They're $305 IIRC from PBTech, cloud managed (literally plug and play), easy to configure and support. Ruckus make some of the best WiFi gear.

You're restricting your experience by using WiFi on a router. By going towards a solution like the Xclaim you can just focus on getting work done.

Grab one, you'll never regret it.
