VodafoneDylan:

I suggest reviewing this comment that was lost in the much longer discussion about the Note 5 http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=97&topicid=177783&page_no=6#1405706

While I understand the commercial implications, Vodafone's handset offerings are much more limited than 2D and Spark - both of which have satisfied themselves there is a commercial proposition to extend beyond the Samsung offerings.

I imagine in the corporate sector I'm sure 99% would be happy with either an Apple or Samsung flagship?

I'm a corporate customer and I'm not happy with either of the above (though accept I might be an outlier).

so you're the 1% in this case

According to your imagination ...

You are obviously in a position to negotiate, if it were me I would be reviewing the competition, discussing possibility of acct credits in lieu of handset subsidy, negotiate out of a handset subsidy and buy outright, one way or another you are paying for that 'free' phone so one way or another get the handset you want ;)
