Mine won't factory reset to non-VFX.

After 7-8 seconds it doesn't a VFX-factory reset and if you keep holding it in nothing more happens - it just boots up.

Worth a try, you did hold for 30sec plus? It does a first factory reset at 7-8 sec, but should (in theory) do a complete factory reset after continuing to hold for 30-40sec.

Yea I definitely held it down for ~30s+

I'll give it another shot later tonight anyway, I've got the config backed up so no biggy.

Cheers :)

Try hold it in while you power it up, or factory reset via the web interface.

The web interface has tickboxes to factory reset the router and voice components seperately. If I try and reset the voice component I'm prompted for a password that I can't provide!

Niel, thanks for your email - I mirrored your setup exactly and still no luck. I was hoping this was PEBKAC issue but maybe not!

Go back to normal non-bridged mode and factory defaults, to see if it will connect.

The issue here was the device from Imgram Micro has a completly different profile loaded, even though it was branded as VFX, so this is why we could not see or even access it it is locked down to someone else and was checking in with them not us.

The device has been swapped out for a VFX one as is all okay, we are now talking to the distributors ref this

Thanks everyone for your help!

Fine example of Xnet's customer service - put the new unit in at home and it was all go in less than 10 seconds. Pretty bad luck with the device to begin with but nevermind...

I've had a quick play with the household wiring to allow the the nDSL to get out and the ATA to send a dialtone to the phones in the house and it's working perfectly so I've just emailed my signed Fusion sign up form off to Xnet.

Can't wait for this to all be live!

Cheers

EDIT: Just got an email back from WxC, they reckon 6-8 working days for a full migration - hopefully I'll be on nDSL with full up/down sooner though :D
