Last month I priced getting Fibre + Phone through Spark and Sky through, well, Sky. Once you added on the HD ticket and the extra cost for the MySky HDI box etc. one ends up paying about $30 more a month. (This is from memory so figure might be a bit different but it would cost more)

Small price to pay for functioning internet instead of cable.

How many times do we have to say "Leave Vodafone"?

Seriously though it has to be the only option before it can be an option.

I am quite frustrated by the fibre rollout which stops me from moving. I see signs in the street next to mine (I live in a cul de sac off this road) saying UFB is coming mid this year. But my street off the street with the sign is not due to get UFB till mid 2017! Maybe when the contractors come I can ask them to extend down the 100m of my street :-)

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.
