Couldn't have put it better myself. I look forward to seeing what these "mini-MVNOs" are planning to offer, and how well they perform. All things going well, I might be able to jump ship to a company that has the following:

1) A billing system that sends me correct invoices, on the correct date, to the correct address.
2) An awesome customer care team.
3) A mobile voice, data, SMS, and MMS service that works, all the time.
4) Roaming that actually works.
... etc.

Of course, as wholesalers of Vodafone's stuff, 3 & 4 are really restricted by Vodafone. So that means that these providers are going to have to do their very best at making #1 and #2 absolutely PERFECT - people wouldn't mind one or two minor issues in exceptional circumstances if they could be resolved easily and efficiently, with a single phone call.

I had exactly the same issue for a few days now, Call through, Egypt were not able to help, They were all very pleasant to deal with apart from that agent a while back but it seems they are strangled over a rather poor quality voice connection with no reliable system.

Struck local a bit later when I needed their help getting a number I had called (I cracked the lcd on my phone today! argh) I had dialled, also got her to fix the prepay, bang, done.. simple.

OT, does anyone happen to have a 64K or older prepay simcard they can sell me? even at normal retail pack prices, my GSM controller will not use the >128k or larger ones.

I spilled a glass of water on mine this morning and it died a rather quick death as a result. Should get my replacement in the courier tomorrow morning. Thank you phoneInsure.
