2 spark associates got the chad number posted earlier today also (Chad (+235 90 97 64 17))
I just sent a warning to all my non-technical friends. Others might want to do the same. This seems to be reaching epidemic proportions. No doubt it will show up on Stuff and TVNZ in a week or so.

Tonight I received two missed calls - one from Bangladesh and one from Chad. The first one only rang for a couple of seconds, but I'm not sure about the second one as the phone was in another room at the time.
I am on 2degrees with a number ported from Vodafone.

freitasm: Got a phone call from 88 (Sri Lanka) today. Obviously not answered and wouldn't call back in any way.
That will explain the +88 call I got yesterday as well on my 021 number.

I regularly get calls from Canada, Switzerland, and Chad. I never answer them as I don't know anyone in these locations and assume they are scam calls.
