Maybe they send at those times because network activity is low.

While I do like my corporate bashing, this most likely is due to the end of day process running which immediately sends out the SMS. VF could buffer this to disk. After all, it's less than one Twitter post per customer. :-)

well my partner has just got her sms spam stopped by phong vodafone

 

she had tried a few years ago and was told as a prepay customer she couldn't opt out

 

I am glad this is finally sorted for her
