Niel:One day we might have to add another digit to specify the planet you are calling from, but that is a whole different topic.

Since everybody is currently on Earth surely when we move to Mars then Mars Telecom will support portability so we won't actually have to change our number? Smile

Better still have a mars Xnet then all I would need to do is take my PAP2T there. Works on any connection anywhere so number will stay the sameLaughing

Would it be possible to have full e164 format numbers instead?  i.e. incoming calls presented as 649950xxxx for example, and be able to dial in e164 format for outbound calls as well?

No we won't be presenting calls in E164 format, this does not fit with the most peoples understanding of number's and would at this stage cause confusion for the general users if numbers were presented as E164
