I have been with Vodafone for about 15 years now, and for most of that time they have been fantastic. Sadly though I am now seeing them devolve into another giant uncaring, cost cutting, monolith. They are slowly losing the spark and drifting into that JAFT space (Clue Just another .......... Telco).

Same thing happening to Clear Communications, from dynamic and cool, to a smaller and more inept version of Telecom.

Having an offshore Call Centre is uncool.

Having an offshore call centre with NZ hours is even less cool.

Our standard business hours are 8am – 8pm 7 days a week.

Being disconnected (twice) while calling in the evening meant hitting the 8pm shutoff and not getting issue resolved that night.

I have been with vodafone for only 5 years but for each of the past 3 they seamed to have managed to make the call center worse.
Less helpfull people(who knows where you can find someone so unhelpfull)
Worse hours(why close when its the day in the country where the call center is, surely it would be cheaper to run then?)

Dont know how they manage it.
