I used to be young and innocent once, before I started looking after more e-mail accounts than my own. :-)

Dynamic DNS is OK, if you set it up and maintain it very well, but ISP's bag all dynamic ISP ranges as being of dubious nature.

I remember when I was an ihug customer trying to obtain a static IP was rather difficult, with CSRs telling me different stories and what not. I've since moved to Orcon whos IPs are static for the period that you're on your plan. My IP has only changed once since Nov 07 due to moving houses.
