@stu1 does that mean that every call is also a toll call?

The package is free national calls looking at her usage , they put it under my services I can see no charges yet for a local call but will keep an eye on the bill. Only went down this option as plan is pretty good 40 per month for phone and 20gb internet. Unfortunately my mother is struggling with simple things at the moment can't get used to entering an extra 2 numbers at the start of each call

@kiwifidget Yes $25 per minute! :P

Just cause you use an area code to dial a local number does not mean you are going to get charged a toll call, You use area codes when calling out on a mobile and you are not charged a toll call

Comparing the 2 products the Vodafone option looks like the better offer as it includes national landline calling, with Spark its a $14 addon

Same plan at spark is 59.99. but may be worth it just for convenience.
