I will admit the website is certainly improving in leaps and bounds over what it used to be. I would actually call the main site "good" now but it's when you head into these legacy areas that the experience changes somewhat. Notably, VFmail, MYA/Knox, and especially pxtworld which looks so 2002 now!
I will comment that the MYA is still incredibly glitchy and screwed up though with persitence, you can access what you want, you commented that Siebel was unresponsive and not the most stable, lol and I can instantly imagine why :-P
(http://pxtworld.vodafone.co.nz/mcp/images/head/greybar_mya_on.gif) is an example of parts of the of the ancient site that is still hanging around.
Paradoxsm, so what you're saying is that the bits that non-customers will see works well, but the fuctionality that is used by customers works badly? At least thats how it is for me.
I have major issues with topping up online with my credit card.
One situation I remember is when my friend & I went to Australia and we both ran out of credit but I was the only one with a credit card. So I topped up mine first, then attempted to topup my friend's phone but Voda site kept 404ing and the MyAccount page was like "HEY YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN USED ON ANOTHER ACCOUNT TOO MANY TIMES, WE'RE BLOCKING YOUR CARD NUMBER UNTIL YOU CALL US@@@ HUR HUR"
I realise this is to prevent stolen credit cards being used but that was just annoying.
And I don't get why MyAccount has to be like "your credit card *has* to be added to the account before you can use it!"
As I posted in another thread, under did you know when you click on "Switching is easy" it takes you to http://www.vodafone.co.nz/home-phone/plans/ - which generates the 404 error :-)
When I try to submit some feedback about it using the good bad thing, I can't see the entire box only part of it is displayed so I am unable to see what I am typing.
Does this on IE6/7/8 on both the Vista machine at work and the Windows 7 machine at home.
@regliko I know, the whole credit card registration thing's a bit of a nightmare. What we've done is create a "One-off payment" mechanism. Click "Make a Payment" in the left hand navigation once you've logged in and you'll reach this - or try this link https://www.vodafone.co.nz/myvodafone/payment
The "only one card per account" thing was something to do with the credit card companies apparently, so we're struggling to get that changed. -- David Vodafone design and usability geek (and cycling nut)
