I want one, but everybody I speak to at VF has a different story, so not sure what to do. My local digital mobile say they don't know what to do, I've heard about the $88 early resign, 11 months from end of contract, and I've heard $99 early resign and 6 months, so unless someone can conclusively tell me, I guess I'll just have to wait...

I'm happy to hand back in my old unit if thats what they require.

Yeah, its just a shame that at what that panasonic costs, its only GSM, and it only comes with a single pretty mediocre dect handset. I have found that panasonic dects have the worst range of any I have tried (and the philips msn phone the best of dect).

IMO the panasonic should cost no more than the other box since its a $30 dect system and a gateway.

+1 there.

I had a Philips MSN phone too, and found the range far greater and call quality clearer.

It is a shame only the supplied model of Panasonic phone works with the device, so I can't use my current colour screen Panasonic with it. At $99 a replacement handset is a bit steep considering how basic they are.
