freitasm:
JonC: I'm sure this used to be 1.1 bc3 which I presume is the version number of whatever caching software they're using.

It still says 1.1. bc3 for me, although the international sites seem to be working now.

Gone back to 1.1 bc3 for me now as well.  Perhaps an aborted upgrade?  You're right, not the time I'd pick for an upgrade.

freitasm: A software update on a Thursday 8-10am?

I'd actually been unable to access hauppauge.com since 4:00am this morning, so if there was some work done, I think it was much earlier.

Thankfully, it seems to have righted itself now, and I can get to hauppauge.com.

We experienced issues with one of our caches early this morning and it was taken out of services at approx 09:45am. The issue has been resolved and the cache is back in operation.

Please let us know if you see any residual issues.

We apologize for the the issue.

Thanks for the update Olof. I can say it's working fast as usual since the first reply in this page - about 9:50am.

I've been having issues this evening (Thu). I couldn't get to many of the links on either Digg or my Twitter feed. It's 3am and still having problems.

Some example links that are refusing to work for me:

Yep, I'm having issues again too. Same as yesterday. I cant get to www.gbpvr.com and a few other websites I frequent.

Let me guess... they're retrying whatever upgrade failed yesterday?

Also just discovered I can't get to xero.com to create some invoices or edit my timesheet spreadsheets on Google Docs ("Trying to reach google.com...") :(

Assuming it *was* a faulty upgrade, I hope they didn't just rerun the upgrade tonight and bugger off home. I suppose we are stuck until 10am again... :/

Yep - as an early riser, I'm always first to strike any overnight internet problems, then I have to wait hours until anyone is in the TCL office.

At least I can get to some sites this time, including slashdot.com and engadget.com etc, so I've got some reading material to help pass the time while I wait

I'm experiencing plenty of issues at present. Things were fine 15 mins ago but in the last few minutes I've had plenty of timeouts on various sites.

I can't get to http://store.apple.com... at the moment, although Apple's main site is working fine.

Zigg: Definitely not fixed yet at my end, getting a lot of blank pages.

As of 7.34 today, things are down all over the place.

Yep, back to the same issue for me too.  It seems they are trying unsuccessfully to upgrade their cache.  Again, take a look at http://www.whatismyip.com/ and they're going for 1.1 bc4 this time, but that seems to be as bad as the 1.1 bc6 they tried yesterday.

That site is reporting 1.1 bc5 for me.

It's up to 1.1 bc7 for me now. Maybe they have to do incremental updates. Or maybe it's not what I think it is.
