Big problem there, is texts will not come to you till you swap the sim over or put it in a craptastic handset when you are using it.

It's one of those things  that's always puzzled my as to when you CF  your fone to another that the SMS does not follow it.

I really like the concept of the text alerts for data usage if nothing else to stop those people that end up on Campbell Live every 3-6 months complaining about there bill.

How about rather than just you've used xxMB, you've spent $xx as well.

zenourn: - When arrive in AU with the NZ sim in your phone redirect to the AU sim number (hence all calls come though as normal, and only nominal NZ->AU forward charge on incoming calls that is no more than what you are charged with roaming incoming calls). Then put in AU sim.


That's a great scheme zenourn.  I'd never thought of redirecting my NZ phone to an overseas SIM but usually when I'm overseas I just give the overseas number to people who need to contact me.  Usually they are in the same country as me so that actually works really well.
