Jaffa: I have both too, I work for telecom wife works for vodafone and her brother works for woosh so lots of freebies and cool up and comming info always left around the house. We get the best of both mobile worlds for free :)

Sweeet :)

We are a Telecom camp at home, missus works for TNZ, and I have done 2 tours as Corporate Account Manager & Business Account Manager for dealers, and just been offered a 3rd (which I have turned down).

I took an LGNX225 home a few weeks ago, and missus thought it was a Vodafone! I think I was about to get grilled... I would dearly love a Voda 3G handset, but I need/want/use $10 text, and most people I communicate with over mobile use TNZ and would incur cost to contact me if I changed...

Lets see what happens when number portability blurs the lines eh?

i have and have always had a personal vodafone, once upon a time i was running a parallel 025 (with no internetwork texting)
The corporate I work for run us with just mobiles which can be dialed in through reception or directly so I have that and a personal vodafone now

all we need now are t3g datacards with the work laptops

Cripes no wonder the flames take off like Krakatoa every time someone starts comparing telcos. Everyone's talking up their benefactors because their freebies depend on it! I'll be considering people's motivations much more carefully when I read stuff posted here from now on.

Nah, I don't think it's this. I think it's pretty much the same as discussing Windows x Linux: emotions, emotions and not much reason.

I certainly dont think their is a financial / freebie motivation to any of it. When you are aligned with one side, you generally get a really strong education about the pros of your side, and the cons of the other.

To get a balanced view, you have to spend a lot of time researching the other, or alternatively, just hang out here @ Geekzone

Well I certainly hope that those who get laid off as a result of a Freedom initiated price war remember to inform us with just as much glee about how much more they're paying for everything than they used to.

And do you forecast a workforce reduction due to reduced margins? Or you know for sure?
