johnr: JohnR was doing a job today I did many years ago and will be doing this till I don't know when but we are all chipping in to our best to look after #1...The customer.

I know a IN design Engineer that was on the phone today taking calls supporting our customers prepay / postpay

We all had a ball and Vodafone made sure there were plenty of snacks for us to

JohnR

Good stuff - shift happens and people pitch in.

I hope that giant duck in viaduct harbour was'nt part of the compo...!

Glad to hear everyone is doing their bit and I was pleased to see Vodafone put the wellbeing of it's employees overseas first.

JohnR, I think it goes without saying, that while I do enjoy from time to time trolling you and your staunch loyalty to the Vodafone regime, you are a fantastic asset to the company, both in terms of your technical knowledge and skills and they way in which you engage in forums like this desipte the flack I know you have got for it over the years. The customers who get you and your colleagues on the phone and very lucky to have such competent people to answer their queries.

Agree - There would be few people in any company who show the commitment and dedication which JohnR gives to assist Vodafone customers - not only does he frequently respond after hours and weekends he has also answered queries even when on annual leave. Not only does he fix things which others at VF seem unable to resolve, he also follows things through to ensure they are fixed - something which is often sadly lacking when dealing with customer service staff. I imagine that VF has retained many customers who would have left if not for JohnR's support.

+1 to johnr and in fact Vodafone NZ as well. I have been a customer for years and have always had good reliable service. Of course there are going to be people who have bad experiences but this is normal you just tend to hear the bad more.

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Unless our team flew to Egypt at the speed of light to replace a failed disk and got back to New Zealand for a meeting at 2pm
