alasta:
JAMMAN2110: Did they try to sell it to you as if it would work with PTT on VFNZ?

When I got my 6630, one of the first things that I saw when I opened the box was a note saying that the push to talk feature on this handset won't work with the Vodafone network. I imagine they must that with all PTT capable Nokia handsets that are sold through Vodafone dealers.

Yeah, all the Nokias have that note put in the box.

Push To Talk is one of those funny technologies that is HUGELY popular in some parts of the world but not others. NZer's have taken to text messaging more than any other country, the same goes with MMS to a degree. I don't know any concrete facts off hand but from my perspective it doesn't seem tio be hugely popular on Telecom's side of the fence either, seems to more a niche product thus far.

Most likely thanks to the fact you cannot import CDMA handsets. Smile
