No can do. This is a corporate plan that incoporates regular voice, cellular and data communications. (Very) large organisation with a multi year contract so unlikely I can do anything about it. Just have to live with it or get my own personal data plan

Can the vodem also be used like a modem for dial up connections in countries that are still only dial up. The old MCC (globetrotter) could do this and was handy when visiting countries that are not gprs or 3G.
