@Ramboky "Acting like it's their customers fault for using their own connections too much is absurd." I think you've taken my comment out of context, I'm not acting like it's customers' fault.

@DJShadow Thanks for the heads up, fixed the links, sorry about that.

@dejadeadnz You definitely took my comment out of context, it was in answer to the previous post.

@Sideface thanks for the info, good to see.

@MikeHales - have you had a chance to get our troublesome node W40 looked at?

Been in contact with the network team, it is scheduled in and when I have a confirmed date, will share here or on VF Community.

DjShadow:

@mikehales has just posted this on the Vodafone Community, the details links don't work: http://community.vodafone.co.nz/t5/Vodafone-network-status/Cable-Broadband-upgrades-summary/m-p/201902#

But I take from it that the Wainuiomata nodes have been upgraded but unfortunately the added capacity was saturated very quickly and we're back to square one

It's seems that Vodafone's idea of updates and keeping customers in the loop continues to be telling us what has happened after the fact and giving no insight into what is upcoming, mixed with a little self congratulatory back patting about how much money they're spending trying to fix a network that's only broken because of their own incompetence.

Why we couldn't have been told that WKH was being upgraded last Friday is beyond me. It's not like they didn't know in advance. Why we've not been told the work isn't complete escapes me too.

There is other work upcoming. I'm sure Vodafone will be equally unforthcoming with that information as they have been for the everything else over the last year.

Intentionally or not, that is exactly what your comment suggests.

No worries, I'll take it as you intended.

With respect though, you've been taking about working on updates since your first post here a month and a half ago, but you're yet to actually provide one. Unless I've missed it?

The connection is unbearable this morning. I'm having difficulty accessing much of anything. Battle.net, Speedtest.net, and Steam are all pretty much dead in the water. Steam is understandable, because it's sale time, but everything else?

Vodafone, please. :(

There is definitely something going on, all of a sudden various websites unavailable, others super slow. Very annoying when you are trying to work from home

I hear you there. It's my final day of study and work before I have an exam and a group presentation tomorrow. Definitely not a good day for Vodafone to be performing like trash.

I'm getting <60 KB/s to many services. If things degrade further come evening, I may have to look into digging up an old dial-up modem to get better performance. :P
