Worked for me too.

YouTube just randomly started buffering, and Speedtest.net won't load. However, fast.com is functional, and the result is terrible. Fast.com is always insanely accurate for me, giving results that are identical to Speedtest.net. Strangely, many sites are working fine, while a handful are basically completely dead in the water with near-dial-up speeds.
Oh hey, Speedtest.net started working. The result is more than ten times what I was getting on fast.com. I'm at about 1% of advertised speed instead of 0.1%. ;)

My only complaint is that latency has shot up to 200 from 150ms to Blizzard servers in LA. Seen this happen before and it usually gets corrected after a few weeks.
Gave the modem and router another swift kick. Seems to have done the trick this time.
*shrug*

Yeah, you're probably right. I was going to put it in a spoiler tag or something, but Geekzone sadly doesn't seem to have any such BBCode. I can't seem to link to just the URL either, since the WYSIWYG editor auto-converts it to an inline image.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. freitasm: You can just hit the editor image button and put a width there when posting.
Huh, I never even noticed that before. I previously linked images by setting the img tags myself, and now it's usually taken care of with a simple Ctrl+V. Unfortunately, it seems that my prior post is too old for me to be able to edit at this point, so it will need to stay as it is, I'm afraid. :(
On a more positive note, the connection here is plenty usable tonight. No complaints thus far, and hopefully it stays that way. :)
