No change as advised over on the VFNZ forum

Oh see that long term loyal customers as usual have been rewared with nothing, I guess we have the option to pay MORE than we currently pay to get the same benefit of been a new customer.

Or you can simply move onto the new plans? The Ultimate Package is an old plan thus won't be upgraded?

If you own an iPhone 4S do you expect your Mobile Operator to upgrade you to an iPhone 5 when a new iPhone comes out?

It's not hard to go to the new plans. Do it online or ring up. And it's only like 5 buck extra from Ultimate to the new plan for a 12 month contract if you're fine with not leaving Vodafone in the next 12 months since if you're a "loyal" customer.. + You get 5 Best Mates..

+ If you've been loyal ask for free double data..

We arn't talking about hardware here, or mobile operators, I am talking about the the way Vodafone quite often chooses to ignore long term loyal customers. It's no surprise there was a recent 50,000 customer loss for vodafone recently

*50,000 Prepaid Customers.

I don't see why you're complaining? Vodafone upgrades it's customers usage by 20-40GB (Double Data) and gives free double Data to long serving customers for only $95 a month. I don't see why you are complaining. This is the cheapest package in the market atm.

If you're a loyal customer, for $95 a month you get:
- 200GB
- 5 Best Mates
- Free MYSKY or half price sport

That's pretty decent imo. Telecom is 100$ for 150GB and no bestmates or SKY Discounts or un-metered iSKY. Or $120 for 500GB. Much more expensive than Vodafone.

Just simply move from the Ultimate Pack to the new pack and you'll be fine.. Vodafone treats it's customers good..

As pointed out numerous times here, you are one of a few lucky enough to get that deal. It's a brilliant deal no doubt, but it would be good if you stopped touting it like it's the actual plan being offered, because it's not.

don't see where you got the "Prepaid customers" bit from, the NZ Herald article just says 50,000 customers

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/

Ring 0800 438 448, option 2, ask for the retention team. Say you want to be moved over to the Mega-Pack for $95 per month, with Free Double Data, and don't take no for an answer on the double data. Don't take the double Data for $15. Insist on them giving it to you for free. And if you're even luckier, they might give you 2 months free or a free modem.

You're choice if you want to ring up and get a mean deal or stay complaining and getting nothing. :P

*Key point you must have been with Vodafone for over 2 years to get this deal. Loyalty pays.

I'll give that a go, but what about the free MYSKY how do you go about getting that?

I'll give that a go, but what about the free MYSKY how do you go about getting that?

Give it a go you've got nothing to lose, Vodafone will look after you. Free MYSKY has been out since like 2010. If you have your SKY Billing with Vodafone you can get Free MYSKY or Half Price Sport or $5 MYSKY+.

Give Vodafone a ring and they'll look after you, it's better imo to have your bills in one place and you get free MYSKY.

But if you have any deals with SKY going like Free Sport for 6 months they will become null. But if you don't it would be more plausible to have your bill with Vodafone to get the Free SKY Discount.

You get the MYSKY HDI Box for free. Usually you'd need to pay $15 a month for it. But you get it free. But yeah you would already need to have SKY to have this.

I got $10 discount for 12 Months on Mega pack, Free double data, free modem and free nation calling and I get the $15 MYSKY HDi discount too. Just call, I did and it took 5 minutes.

I aim to misbehave.
