I had the same thing happen for my weekend $3 thing happen yesterday. Didn't bother me since I was still up.

I just want to know how the person that built the system could not have foreseen this as being a problem and let it slip thru the QC process.

YES, that's an extremely good question...  Someone in the IT department must surely have their ears burning by now Embarassed

Clearly there must have been some testing done before this was unleashed.  Yet, obviously it was not thorough enough.  Before letting rip with something that has such an impact on people's lives, you would have thought that exhaustive testing would be in order.

I remember getting hauled over the coals during the mid 1990s by one or two customers who (unbeknown to me) happened to work from home and took objection to me sending faxouts in the wee small hours (funny that!).  The reason I did this was to take advantage of Telecom's off-peak hours for business lines (1c per minute instead of 5c per minute).

Yet, in the interests of keeping those customers, I had to remove them from the automatic scheduler and send their faxes separately during business hours.

If a small business can do something like this, surely it's not too much to ask of Vodafone who have vast IT resources at their disposal... Undecided
