sbiddle:chevrolux:eme:chevrolux: Why not just look at WxC VFX.
It is fully auto-provisioned on to an ATA (I would use Cisco SPA112) so you don't need to worry about set up. It is, more or less, plug and play. Also rock solid. Wifey won't know the difference. Plus you get all the extra smart features. All for only $11.50/month.
Apparently VF does not allow Sip on their Naked VDSL plan, even though the Huawei 659 supports sip, and I need VF for my Suresignal to boost mobile reception.
Im taking a punt here but I think I can say with almost 99% certainty that VF will not block SIP. They just simply wont support it. This is a non-issue when going to VFX as they will support the ATA. You can keep your connection with VF so your Suresignal will be fine.
Yip they do nothing to block SIP, they simply don't support it. It's supported only on the plans and devices they sell which use their VoIP offering.
