Except both the 777 BAL feature and MYA are both currently unavailable.

Way to go Vodafone! Smile

Got my Vodafone bill today and even though I paid on the due date through Internet Banking it came as "Amount Overdue Please Pay Now".

I am not happy with this...

I got my bill and am being charged for SMS's as my free TXT2000 had disappeared and and am not receiving my 25% extra 3G airtime. The CSR said they couldn't do anything so I had to go back down to the Vodafone store last night to get them to try and sort it out which they seemed particularly exicted about..

The most obvious problem so far seems to be that there is no way to get a balance of remaining Your Time minutes unless you ring 777 and use the automated service. MYA or using the 777 BAL service will only give the balance of Anytime Minutes.

I am in a similar boat as well. Except I have no statements.

3 (in addition to monthly statements) or so statement requests resulted in 1 statement actually arriving. Other mail goes through fine (telecom bills, bank statements etc).

To add additional pain, I'm trying to see how this mobile I have has used $40+ for extremely light calling... however vodafones MYA is not extremely revealing in all the charges so I want statements, which haven't arrived.

Calling them results in 'the service is overloaded, please call back later'... which is a tad difficult given their hours of operation + queue times.

Absurd!

I just got out of the phone with Vodafone. I paid my previous bill ($140.48) on the due date 18 June, via Internet Banking. They issued a new bill on 19 June saying my account is overdue.

When I called them today I was told there is no record of my payment and the CSR asked me for my bank account number so someone in the accounts team can look for this transaction.

I guess they never heard of computers, electronic transactions, etc?

What is really annoying is their message just on top of my "overdue notice": "Good news! We've completed the upgrade of our systems. Vodafone balence, billing and account services are now back to normal."

It's obviously not back to normal.

Got my phone account balance, via txt from Vodafone. I nearly fell off my chair the owing balance is over $750.00. (This is $650.00 more than normal!)Rang customer services they say the changes are for GPRS Wap data. But I have not gone out of the Vodafone live site. Checked when data was used and it directly matches the time I get a stuff regular news update’s via MMS(about 7am and 5 pm)Normally this costs me $2.00 a week. Getting accounts people to call back with an explanation. Not good at all. Andrew

$750... dam.... sorry to hear that! Hope you get it sorted soon.

On a slightly happier note... i just signed my mum upto Choose 60 and took the free 3g phone for myself :) I was speaking to the guy in the Vodafone shop and he said we couldn't port from VF PrePay to VF OA. I then told him I could port from VF PrePay to Telecom and then back to VF OA and he said yes.... bit weird if you ask me... anyway, we just gave her a new number.

About the happier note... i asked when BESTMATE for OA was coming, he said softly, looking away "very very shortly"!! He then said "shhh" and smiled! I won't reveal what VF shop it was, as I think the guy was cool :)

Considering the stories in this thread and the inconsistencies that I've noticed when I look at Manage Your Account, I'm really not looking forward to getting my bill next week.

Did you give them your bank account number?  I always feel really hesitant about doing that - although that may be in part to do with some of the stories I hear working at a bank.

Technically, the chances of many payments that are exactly $140.48 are fairly slim.  They should be able to pull out those transactions (adding in a margin of a few days to be sure) and then check what reference information is on the transaction records e.g. VF account number.  Only after doing that (and coming up short) should they come back to you asking for more details.  That's a simple summary of the process that banks go through when transactions go astray.

Andrew - I hope you're really disputing that bill!

I will call them tomorrow. I've just checked my Vodafone account online and there was no sign of payment - even after eight days. And AFAIC computers don't sleep and Internet Banking payments go through overnight.

I think there is something really wrong or my wife has a secret admirer.

Called Vodafone first lady should have been a car salesman just talked a whole pile of nothing and the wife (customer) is wrong.

Rung back second lady said could see the $529.00 but could not see the charges nor could explain them.

Vodafone explained the bill has not been printed and wont be till the 7th of July etc.

Could not explain on there new billing systems for a onacount phone number what and how Vodafone made up charges for $529.00

As you can see the wife is on the wrong plan (will fix this)

Account has gone from $218.70 to $529.96 in a month????????????????/

Could case to go Telecom $10.00 txt  as wife used 1000 txts over the 600  - you can see how Vodafone makes money.

Vodafone "found" my payment, a week after the money was transferred from my bank account to theirs. Even though the payment was only showing this morning (Monday) the date is listed as last Saturday's - and I checked last night but nothing was listed there.

So obviously they applied the payment with a back date, which is good, but still showing up as a late payment, which is bad.

Of course there will blame - on "the computers"...
