kiwigeek1: seems to be people saying it works on web.

also another way is to use the usb but that would be slower throughput

Is using a PC as a router, hardly what you described.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

I'm not sure of you're now trying to troll us or simply don't want to read what has already been posted.

Your DSL modem will not work. Simple as that. It doesn't matter what other people say elsewhere.

If you want to waste time trying then go ahead, but you won't get it to work.

If you want a solution buy a $1 NR router off Trade me.

The modem is a bridge. It does not do DHCP and it's certainly not a firewall.

I will lock this discussion because I see it will go downhill from here.

I am posting an update from VodafoneDylan:

Hi everyone

All our current cables (as far as I know) require an upgrade to a docsis 3 modem, which we'll upgrade you to for free when you switch to one of our current plans on a new term, and they have wifi included. Please call the sales team on 0800 222 664 and they'll chat to you about the right plan to suit you and get it sorted.

Cheers

Dylan
