I'm surprised that no NZ networks have introduced voLTE.
I wouldn't hold your breath - 700MHz still haven't made their way into urban centres because apparently 1800MHz in a hilly environment like the Hutt Valley is a fantabulous idea.

@kawaii: Incorrect over the last few weeks VodafoneNZ has been turning on L700 in Auckland CB right out across to Penrose / Papatoetoe , Glendowie
Also turning on CA over the 700 / 1800 on these sites and CA on the 1800 band of 20Mhz + 5
Correct
johnr: The great thing is on 1800Mhz 4G band now offering CA on the same band more customers will be noticing 4G+ coverage even Nae Nae where @sbiddle lives got this upgrade today, 100s of sites must be live with this now
I'm over in Naenae as well - well, in Avalon near the Naenae college which unfortunately places me in this dead zone between towers when it comes to all the carriers that I've tried :-( One of the reasons I've scrapped the idea of using Skinny Broadband because I'm lucky to get 'one dot' on my iPhone since most of the time it sits on 3G regardless of whether I'm on 2 Degrees, Vodafone or Spark/Skinny.

More volte in the Netherlands
Is 3G (and maybe 4G) coverage going to mirror 2G before 2G is decommissioned?

UMTS 900 MHZ is available in most coverage areas now.

All good - I know of a few areas that get great 2G signal and marginal-to-nil 3G.
