Thanks Phil, I believe I have done this last night and this morning, I will have a look this evening when I have some quite time.
Thanks
Update - Logged on to my SPA Remotely, both lines are registered and online!, the rush restart of my ADSL router and the SPA in the morning must have fixed it self I did not wait to see whether SPA is registering . I believe this may be on my side l have to find out why this is going down. Thanks guys
maverick:
If you can try this please,
1. Disconnect the DSL from your Router
2. Wait for the Phone LED's to go out on the 2102 (within 3 Minutes)
3. Reconnect the DSL to the router
4. See if the 2102 comes back on line
I have been monitoring my VFX lines last 3 days,
Scenario 0
I have had my VFX lines ( 3 Lines 2 accounts) dropping almost every day, these lines were using AG300 modem/ router, every time the line drops I have to use Maverick's suggestion above which restores the VFX line. I have occasions my wife dials through Internationals calls via Telecom not releasing the VFX is down.
Scenario 1
I have replaced the AG300 with 3COM 3CRWDR100A all 3 lines are using this router all lines registred went to bed, got up in the morning the 2 lines on the SPA2102 are dropped. Okay Restart the 3COM router went to work come in the evening the Line on the SPA3102 dropped.
Scenario 2
Decided to use my TCNZ broadband for SPA2102, which is using 3COM 3CRWDR100A, and SPA3102 with FUSION using identical 3COM 3CRWDR100A, this change over happened last night, got up this morning hmmm both the VFX devices are registered and up. but in the evening the line on the SPA3102 is dropped which is using Fusion.
Conclusion
Not only this time... but also I have recollection VFX always worked with TCNZ broadband....with Fusion its always drops.
I will not put this to a Firewall port issue, most of these ADSL router Firewall ports are open (All ports) to outside world, unless you specifically block them. If my SPA devices made a successful registration this means they have allocated them the port they wanted. There is no Fusion line going down or Router restarts caused this. I'm sure WXC can see my VFX registrations in the logs.
I'm I missing something here....?? do I have to allocate a port to come IN for VFX.
DAY -4
SPA3102 - VFX lines gone down, yea yea... one with FUSION, my other VFX line with TCNZ broadband registered and solid as rock. This got to be something to do with the FUSION, this used to works for days in the early days when I join WXC, this line was registered when I went to bed, my ADSL logs shows there is no PPP fails, its simply dropping the VFX.
Hmmmm, New Zealand always been a Testing ground for Software vendors and large Hardware manufacturers, are we all part of this? this time a large electronic automation (PLC) manufacturer doing the rounds?
My things to do list for today....Hit the WXC help desk...and go aroung in circles

Okay, 3COM has MODEM+ROUTER+FIREWALL+ SWITCH all built in, there are AGL settings I'm not using any. NAT is enabled and by default all ports open to outside world few standard ports are open inwards - this applies to both of my 3COM routers.
I agree I have to look at both ends which ports SPA devices are using.
I would like to leave the following account using SPA2102 with TCNZ broadband, as its now, this will eliminate or reduce the chances port conflicts etc.
sip:957xxxx2@as.wxcnz.net registered 219.xxx.xxx.1x6 5062
sip:957xxxx3@as.wxcnz.net registered 219.xxx.xxx.1x6 5063
The other Device SPA3102 phone 099xxx4 will use Fusion with the identical 3COM MODEM+ROUTER+FIREWALL+ SWITCH.
Please advice me whether I should be assigning any ports on the 3COM for the SPA to use. or any other alternatives you can suggest to eleminate this VFX line dropping.
