Better now.....Twitch.tv is a great indicator that something is wrong.

Agree - things seem to be back to normal for me right now.

have just stumbled upon this thread. my FibreX Max has been abysmal the last couple of days. very slow to load all pages yet national speedtests indicate no issue (to multiple endpoints).

seems to be okay at the moment.

Upper Hutt/Wellington based customer.

have submitted my new connection request to Voyager (UFB finally available) and will be more than happy to say goodbye to Vodafones cable network.

Even when international was crap my actual speed tests were OK. I believe it was a routing issue. My contract is up soon and unless I can keep my current contract price I will go UFB as well.

I find myself in an interesting position. I currently have a grandfathered 120Gb Wireless Home Broadband plan which works perfectly fine for my needs as I live alone and don't use the Internet that much at home.

Last night I got a call from Vodafone trying to move me off wireless and onto the cable connection that appears to be wired up and ready to go as it was used by a previous tenant. It seems like a good move as they are offering me 3 months free if I sign up for 12 months, however I'm not sure if I want to take the risk given all the problems that have been reported in this thread and others.

It might be safer to just stick with what I've got.

This had been mostly fine for me today up until about an hour ago & now it's starting to get progressively slower again. Connection speed between myself and another Wellington VF customer seems unaffected (few km's and between fiberx and ufb), but anything intl is starting to choke again.

This was the first hiccup in quite a while....I believe they all have issues from time to time. My biggest issue is the call centre not believing me when I do have an issue on the odd occasion.

Wise move on their part.. your on their shared network, with physical network available.

It's a shame they can't keep HFC upto their marketing speak ;)
