wallop: Is there a list anywhere of planned new cell sites? Reception at my place is crap and trying to see if Vodafone plan any new sites. Saw one being built nearby the other day and got my hopes up but then saw the Telecom logo on the grates. Bugger I said.

planning is done in 3 month blocks and this is in house info but what area are you speaking of?

Merivale/Papanui in Christchurch. Currently my phone keeps switching between Johns Road, Papanui and City (I think that's what it was called).

Ok, but my signal strength goes from full to nothing when sitting at my desk. I usually have to go to the front of my house to get a decent call.

No, on the flat. I always thought it might be the nearest sites get too much traffic so I'm pushed off to further ones (while not in use).

That should be looked into have you logged a job thru 777?

If not ask for the ticket number and give as much detail as possible even down to what your house is made of and I will check tomorrow if any anything new in Chch coming up

hey regarding the power readings. for wifi the devices are certified by the FCC in america right? is the wifi reading allowed to be higher in nz?
