I don't know why. My shop is just 500 meters away from two 3G 2100mhz cellsites, yes, 2 3G cellsites. And I can hardly get signal. I'm waiting to see some improvement. But 2 years later, nothing happened. I m on Vodafone because of iPhone 4 contract! Not because I wanted to! And because Vodafone gives me 3gig of data for $40 a month. That's a bloody good deal. When that deal finishes, I'll be going again. .

I love the phones that Vodafone sells, but I dont love the network. I signed 2 year contract because I love the iPhone. And I will do it again with the next iPhone. Besides, looks like you like me to cancel the contract instead of you improvin the network? If you don't want my money, it's ok.

Why not buy the next iPhone direct from Apple? Seems odd to sign a contract restricting yourself to no coverage until you can afford the early termination fee.

Good to see the OP take the sensible approach and discuss things calmly with VFNZ...
