Hi and many thanks for this widget, it works well.

Except for the anytime data - for me it is showing up as ERR
i.e.

Last update 14:21
Alert Alert
My Spend $0.00
100MB Anytime data   ERR
70 Anytime minutes 70 min
600 TXT 593 TXT

I have tried un-install and re-install, still same issue.

Any clues?

Hi..

It looks like there is a problem converting the string representaiton of your amount into a floating point value, if you can log-on to m.vodafone.co.nz and copy what its showing there for anytime data, I can fix it..

:)

Is there any special trick to getting this to work at present? I use my login and pass that works on the website, but all I get is "Please Update!" - running an update from the widget app just updates the Last Update without pulling any data down.

its possable you have your username  or password wrong.. you can change it in the settings.

try logging into m.vodafone.co.nz to test there first, thats a good indication of whats working for you as thats where the data is coming from.

I've been getting the same "Please Update!" message on the widget. This is despite no change to login/pass in the widget. Have re-entered login/pass (which works in Vodafone website) to no avail. Updated the widget today too.

have you clicked on the widget, clicked menu for the context menu and selected "Update"..

Also check, the setting for "update wifi only" and see if thats checked/unchecked, otherwise I will need more information, eg android make/model/version.. settings you are using, maybe a copy of the HTML from m.vodafone.co.nz so I can see if there is anything different about it..

Hi, great widget. It was working great until the last update and now my BBLite MB's are stuck at the balance a day ago.

Any ideas?

run the latest update and see how that goes, there is a strange problem that may be due to string parsing, Its a bit strange, I may have gotten around it..

Also, I find quite often the vodafone site (m.vodafone.co.nz) takes a while to respond to mobile devices, where as its snappy to a web browser on the same wifi network (go figure)..

If it still shows the same mb's check the last update time - did it update?, otherwise check m.vodafone.co.nz, it shows the data from there, if vodafone have not updated, i cant show an updated value ;)

looks like vodafone has changed the html on m.vodafone.co.nz, I am currently trying to update the app for this and hope to have an update tonight.

Cool last few releases have worked again. Just a thought about "Show On Widget" ... instead of listing the mobile details (prepay credit etc.) with drop-downs of their possible locations (middle first etc.), have you tried listing the possible locations first and then have the mobile details as the drop-down?

I didnt think of that, but Then it works on a first serve basis, so 2 items could be configured for the same position and when one is no-longer on the list the other replaces it..

It is an interesting idea..

I'd find it a lot easier to see what's in each position and would be easier to know which to change rather than hunting through all the data options to see what's taking up the middle first spot. Just a thought.
